What is the Video Player Element?

The Video Player element is a versatile tool for adding video content to your website.

It supports various video formats and provides customizable playback options, allowing users to create engaging video experiences for their audience.

Note, Appmint supports various video formats, including MP4, AVI, MOV, and more. Configure playback settings such as autoplay, loop, controls, and poster images to enhance the viewing experience.

Using the Video Player Element:

Inserting the Video Player Element:

  • Navigate to the Preset tab in the Appmint editor.
  • Locate the Basic section and find the Video Player element.
  • Drag the Video Player element onto the canvas where you want to display the video.

Opening the Editor Panel:

  • Click on the inserted Video Player element to select it.
  • Click on the "Tune Item" icon to open the editor panel.

Setting Video Properties:

  • In the editor panel, navigate to the Property tab.
  • Insert the URL of the video in the provided field. You can upload the video to the file manager and paste the URL here.
  • Adjust the video width and height to fit your desired dimensions.
  • Customize playback options such as autoplay, loop, controls, light, muted, volume, and capture as needed.

Styling the Video Player:

  • Move to the Style tab in the editor panel.
  • Set the background color and shadow of the video player to match your website's design.
  • Adjust padding, margin, border, left, height, and width settings to fine-tune the appearance of the video player.
  • Explore additional styling options such as transforms and effects to add visual enhancements.

Adding Actions:

  • Switch to the Action tab to configure interactions for the video player.
  • Define actions and events triggered by user interactions or specific events on the webpage.
  • Set event listeners to respond to user inputs or actions on the video player.

Tag Attributes:

  • Finally, navigate to the Tag Attribute tab to set any additional attributes or properties for the Video Player element if needed.

Before publishing your webpage, preview the video player to ensure it displays and functions correctly.

Once satisfied with the configuration, save your changes and publish your webpage to make the video player live.
