Dataform Element Usage
The Dataform element allows you to collect and display data from visitors through forms.
Whether you need to gather user feedback, conduct surveys, or collect contact information, the Dataform element provides a straightforward way to create and customize forms for your website.
What is the Dataform Element?
Dataform element is a versatile tool for creating interactive forms on your website. It enables users to design and configure forms according to their specific requirements, including input fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdown menus, and more.
Once submitted, the data entered into these forms can be collected and stored for analysis or further processing.
Common Use Cases:
- Contact Forms: Allow visitors to get in touch with you by filling out a contact form with their name, email address, and message.
- Feedback Surveys: Gather feedback from users by creating surveys with multiple-choice questions, rating scales, and text fields.
- Newsletter Sign-Up: Enable visitors to subscribe to your newsletter by providing their email address and other relevant information.
- Order Forms: Create order forms for products or services, including fields for quantity, size, color, and shipping information.
Additional Use Cases:
- Event Registration: Collect attendee information for events, workshops, or webinars through registration forms.

Using the Dataform Element:
Navigate to the Basic section in the Preset tab, under the basic element drag the Dataform element from the Preset tab and drop it onto your webpage canvas.
Click on the tune item icon to open the form editor. Here, you can select a collection form you want to use if you have created it, then proceed to configure the setting.

Then proceed to configure actions to be performed when the form is submitted, such as sending an email notification, redirecting to a thank-you page, or storing data in a database.
Once satisfied with the form design and configuration, save your changes and publish your webpage to make the form live.
Preview the form to see how it will appear to visitors and test its functionality to ensure that it works as expected.
Dataform provides you the flexibility to create dynamic and interactive forms tailored to your specific needs, enabling seamless communication and data collection with website visitors.
