Creating a New Reservation

Whether you're booking a restaurant table, a hotel room, or scheduling an appointment, these steps will help you set up and customize your reservations efficiently.

This guide will walk you through the process of creating and managing reservations using Appmint's Reservations CRM.

Before you begin creating a reservation, ensure you have signed up and logged in to your Appmint account. If you haven't, follow these steps:

Creating a Reservation

Select Reservation Definition

  • In the header section, you will see the following headings: Event, Reservation, Selling Point, Service Request, and Reservation Definition.
  • Click on "Reservation Definition" to start creating a new reservation. image

Define Reservation Details

  • Name the Reservation: Enter a name for the reservation that reflects the service you offer. For example:
    • Hair Braiding
    • Hair Dying
    • Marketing Consultation
    • Brand Development Consultation
  • Type: Choose the type of reservation. Options include:
    • Interval
    • Service
    • Service Point
    • Event
  • Title: Provide a title that customers will see.
  • Image: Optionally, add an image relevant to the reservation.
  • Venue: Specify the location where the service will be provided.
  • Description: Add a detailed description of the reservation.
  • Host: Associate the reservation with a specific host or service provider.
  • Work Days: Set the days of the week when the reservation can be made.
  • Office Hours: Define the working hours for the reservation.
  • Block Time: Specify any time blocks during which reservations cannot be made.
  • Booking Type: Choose the type of booking (e.g., online, in-person).
  • Notification Template: Set up the notification template for booking confirmations and reminders.
  • Workflow: Define the workflow for handling reservations.
  • Click "Save" to finalize the reservation setup.

Return to the Reservation Definition tab to add additional reservations for the services you offer.

Managing Reservations

Customer Booking Process

  • Customers can sign in to their account on your website.
  • Navigate to the "Reservation" section from the sidebar.
  • View the available reservations and proceed to book a reservation. image

After booking, customers can return to the reservation page to cancel or modify their reservations.

View and Manage Reservations

  • Sign in to your Appmint account and go to the "Reservation" tab.
  • View all reservations made by customers.
  • Options include:
    • Viewing all information submitted by customers.
    • Canceling or editing reservations.
    • Assigning a service point (e.g., hairdresser or restaurant table) to the customer. image

Setting Up Service Points

Access Service Points Setup

  • From the "Event and Reservation" page, select the "Service Points" tab at the top.

Add Service Point

  • Enter the following details for each service point:
    • Service Point Name: The name of the service point.
    • Capacity: The number of customers the service point can accommodate.
    • Location: The physical location of the service point.
    • Title: A descriptive title for the service point.
    • Description: A brief description of the service point.
    • Image: Optionally, upload an image of the service point.
    • Starting Time: The opening time of the service point.
    • Ending Time: The closing time of the service point.
    • Status: Set the status (e.g., active, inactive).
  • Click "Save" to complete the setup of the service point.
