Creating a New Event on Appmint

Getting Started
Before you begin creating an event, ensure you have signed up and logged in to your Appmint account. If you haven't, follow these steps:
Sign Up and Log In
To access the event creation features, you must first set up an account on Appmint.
Sign Up:
- Visit the Appmint website: Open your browser and go to the Appmint homepage.
- Click on the "Sign Up" button: Located at the top-right corner of the page.
- Fill in your details: Enter your name, email, and password, then click "Create Account".
- Verify your email address: Check your inbox for a verification email from Appmint and click the verification link to activate your account.
Log In:
- Return to the Appmint website: After verifying your account.
- Click on the "Log In" button: Enter your email and password, then click "Log In".
You can now start creating your event page.
Creating a New Event
Creating a New Event:
- On the canvas sidebar, select the "Event and Reservation" menu.
- A list of existing events will be displayed, or an empty list if you're creating an event for the first time.
- Click on the plus icon ("+") to create a new event.
- A modal will open to start the creation process.
Fill in Event Details:
- Choose "Event" from the template dropdown menu.
- Event Name: Enter a descriptive name for your event.
- Event Type: Select the type of event (e.g., Meeting, Appointment, Event).
- Event Status: Set the status (e.g., Drafted, Completed, New, Confirmed).
- Description: Provide a detailed description of the event.
- Start and End Time: Specify the start and end times. (e.g., "Start Time: July 30, 2024, 10:00 AM").
- Host: Select the host from the list of onboarded users.
- Generate Meeting Link: Use the checkbox to automatically generate a meeting link for the event if needed.
- Cover Image: Upload a cover image for the event.
- Participants: Add participants from the dropdown list of users.
- Notification Template: Select a notification email template to be used for the event.
- Click on the "Save" button to save the new event.
After saving the event, your event page will be created.
Note! Automated emails are automatically set up for you as soon as the event is created.
